What’s your thoughts on David Strelec? I think there’s a great player there. But we’re not utilising him properly. He’s not a 9, he needs players around him. I worry it’ll just be one of them “what could have beens.” A move that just wasn’t the right fit for both parties.

@louorns Same thing as how it was in Hammarby. The domination in possession led to teams holding a low block. Low block led to shots blocked but high xG, no obvious number 9 to change the dynamics of attack (idk if it's the same in Boro), opposition punish on the break or via set pieces

I had a look at Boro’s numbers and there’s a lot of Graham Potter at Brighton going on with them data wise. Last 6 games they’ve had 141 non pen shots. But hardly any of them falling to strikers. Top 4 for xG across their last 6: Browne, McGree, Brittain and Morris
