🏛️🇪🇺 El Congreso ilumina su fachada de azul por el #DíaDeEuropa, que se celebra el 9 de mayo. 💙 Conmemoramos el 75º aniversario de la Declaración Schuman, que condujo a la creación de la Comunidad Europea del Carbón y del Acero, precursora de la Unión Europea.

Svim građankama i građanima čestitam Dan Europe. Europa je zajednički prostor koji se gradio na ideji mira i suradnje, ali i na svakodnevnom povjerenju među ljudima. Ujedinjeni u različitosti jezika, kultura i tradicija, pokazujemo da se upravo iz te raznolikosti rađa snaga i stabilnost. U današnjim izazovnim vremenima posebno je važno ostati usmjeren na zaštitu europskih građana te na očuvanje naših zajedničkih vrijednosti – sigurnosti, demokracije i međusobnog poštovanja.Hrvatska je u toj europskoj priči zauzela svoje mjesto, čuvajući svoj identitet, a istovremeno sudjelujući u zajedničkom napretku. Europa živi kroz svoje ljude – u zajedništvu koje dijelimo.

Победата над фашизмот претставува победа на слободата, човечкото достоинство и отпорот кон идеологиите што донесоа страдање и поделби, додека Денот на Европа ја симболизира определбата европските народи иднината да ја градат преку соработка, солидарност и почитување на заедничките вредности. 🇪🇺 Во време на геополитички и безбедносни предизвици, наша обврска е да ги чуваме принципите врз кои е изградена современа Европа и да продолжиме да придонесуваме кон стабилен, демократски и обединет европски континент. We celebrate Europe Day by remembering Robert Schuman’s vision of a continent that, after the horrors of war and deep divisions, chose peace, cooperation, and a shared future. From that idea emerged the European Union as we know it today — a peace project founded on freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and solidarity. At the same time, we also commemorate Victory over Fascism Day, which marked the end of the Second World War in Europe, the most devastating conflict in history. Europe is not only the place where we live, but also a choice we reaffirm every day: the choice of freedom over fear, law over force, and solidarity over division. Today, we must also remember Ukraine, which has been defending itself against brutal Russian aggression for more than four years, while protecting its freedom and the fundamental European values we share. As a proud member of the European Union, Croatia is part of a community that brings our citizens security, opportunities, and a stronger voice in the world, while firmly upholding the civilizational values we share. Croatia participates in shaping common decisions and determining the direction in which 🇪🇺 is moving. The European Union is not merely an institutional framework; in Croatia, it is visible in everyday life — in new schools, kindergartens, and hospitals; in roads and bridges; in renovated buildings and economic projects that are developing all parts of 🇭🇷 and improving the quality of life for our citizens and entrepreneurs. This is a Europe that is not distant, but present in the real changes that people see and feel every day. With hope and confidence in our shared European future, I wish all citizens of Croatia a happy Europe Day.
