@FrancisPSantora @StephNass yeah, this doesn't work as well outside the valley.
true story: I worked for months on the perfect deck to get some angel funds, then went to SF, realized my deck sucked, slapped on together as you said, then raised 10x in weeks.
English

@StephNass Exactly. If you look at YC companies, they pretty much just have one sentence per slide, maybe 7-8 slides.
English

Most investors don't read your slides. They just read the title.
Therefore, your slide title cannot be "Team" or "Market."
Instead, your slide title should describe the key message of the slide in one line.
For example, if you are raising $3M to go to market, the title of your "Funding" slide could be: "We are raising $3M to hit $5M ARR in 18 months."
English

@andruyeung this is partly true, but now I see the opposite: vibe coders who've launched 5 products buy have no traction.
building an app was never the barrier since Wordpress essentially. it is a distribution problem that needs to be solved.

There’s an emerging wave of solo entrepreneurs who are building $100k - $1m software businesses.
No VC raised, completely bootstrapped, often starting on the side while they’re still employed.
The old path to building consumer businesses used to be to identify demand first by creating a series of landing pages and ad copy - before building the product.
But if creating software is as easy as making landing pages - and you no longer need to raise venture capital to hire a group of engineers - why not just build a series of products instead?
This is the new era of entrepreneurship

@web3Caro very true. we are still in the 'Web2.5' phase for a few more years. it will take that long to update all the devices connected to the Internet to natively support Web3.

Follow the tech alpha. Innovation always leads the way in tech.
Sigea Official@SigeaOfficial
1.0.3 is live and distributed, quite a few fixes and some new features have been added. Swing by any of the app stores to update! Would love to get your feedback! Huge thanks to all of our new customers, we cannot thank you enough for the trust!

@shiri_shh the hard part is communicating that to specialists, or those who are predisposed to seeing expertise in specialization only.
English

So that lasted what, all of 4 months?

@2in1_x hard to be a total cynic with the space clearing up @joe4deadcat
English

@2in1_x Also @Ripple, @cryptocom, & @cz_binance all have used, are using, or are planning on using IBC.
Never mind the real utility now in cosmos thanks projects like @Jackal_Protocol (used by @SigeaOfficial) and @gitopiaDAO...
English

Who’s actually using IBC in 2026?
🏦 MUFG, SMBC & Mizuho — Japan’s megabanks
💳 Mastercard Crypto Partner Program
🏢 Apex Group — $3.4T AUM on-chain
🔄 SWIFT API + TOKI integration
This is not retail hype. This is institutions.

@joe4deadcat @Tylerhill I think twitter spaces are gonna make a comeback...
English

@robertdavid010 @Tylerhill I stopped in Dec. algo charged.
Hurt me enough to make it not worth my time to do 5 hours work for a a 12 min video
English

@Tylerhill think of everything the crypto industry has survived. it can't be killed or taken down, thats for sure.

@Tylerhill Appreciate the TA, but also realize "Tech Alpha" is the number one alpha in all of crypto. You can't buy $ETH until Ethereum is built right?
Some of the biggest tech alpha in years dropped this week with @SigeaOfficial's launch of its sovereign data storage app based on #DePIN!
English

@misterrcrypto If you are looking for high potential assymentric risk, some REAL utility projects are just getting started.
Look into @SigeaOfficial and what they are building on.
Tech Alpha > other alpha
English

@joe4deadcat @Ethprofit I was also hopeful of this, but there we just still too many degens around. The liquidity gets completely fractured as they chase pumps in totally worthless and useless simple meme tokens and links to jpegs.
English

@robertdavid010 @Ethprofit I honestly thought this was gonna happen 2 years ago. So I’m blind sided by most of this.
English

@joe4deadcat @Ethprofit the crashing out and shutdowns are beyond epic.
it feels so good!
English

@robertdavid010 @Ethprofit It became too easy to replicate validator sets. That’s why I think most are worthless: if something is easy to produce it can’t be valuable by definition. Also: Tokens minted and distributed for no cost means worthless. Price discovery happening now.

A complete list of admin keys in the top 100: ⚠️
HYPE - ARB admin key for USDC
MNT - L2 admin key
ASTER - SC admin key
ONDO - SC admin key
POL - L2 admin key
ENA - SC admin key
ARB - L2 admin key
PUMP - SC admin key
AERO - BASE admin key
LIT - L2 admin key
SYRUP - SC admin key
Drift just showed the world why admin keys are so bad; it not only defeats the entire purpose of crypto, but it is also outright dangerous!
In all of these examples, a multi-sig can steal all user funds because the smart contract can be upgraded to allow any rule change. Including theft
There is no excuse for a project deployed on a larger chain to still use such admin keys. There are plenty of prominent examples of projects that burned their admin keys & still managed to be extremely successful. UNI & AAVE are both great examples of this being the case
L2s are a different story; they all have admin keys, an inherent consequence of perverse incentives. Which is in part why we have been so skeptical of L2's ever since the concept was first proposed
We can do better & crypto deserves better. So reject centralization & mediocracy in all of its forms. "Training wheels" do not belong on projects protecting hundreds of millions of dollars...
Much like most of humanity's history. What is sold to us for our own protection is what most often becomes the biggest threat. Admin keys represent a similar Faustian bargain
It is only through fully permissionless & decentralized protocols that we can deliver on crypto's promise of freedom, censorship resistance, immutability, privacy & financial sovereignty! 🔥
