More morning fog & afternoon sun for Acadiana through Friday but changes on the way this weekend with a brisk (and dry) front arriving Friday night around midnight give or take a few hours. Breezy cooler for Saturday into Saturday night, but warming back up to near 80° Sunday. (normal this time of year is mid-70s). More significant pattern chance for next week with daily chances (albeit slight) developing while we stay warm and increasingly more humid. Eventually better chances of more robust storms may arrive beyond the 10 day here, including Easter and the days that follow...we'll see! #lawx

What's the best time of the day to enjoy the outdoors and minimize your exposure to pollen? Well for us in Acadiana, it's all about relative humidity and wind. The best time in the current weather pattern is during the early morning hours when our humidity is between 95-100% (and accompanied by fog)...and today that lasted through 10am...once humidity drops below 70% and winds increase, there's more of it floating around. The afternoon into the early evening hours are the worst. In the future, be thinking morning hours around sunrise...as tomorrow for example, winds will be increasing by 9-10 am lowering the humidity and blowing/spreading the "green" around earlier than today. Saturday looks like the "rough" day for allergy suffers as we'll have gusty northerly winds, super dry air and likely will be adding some different pollen (and perhaps dust) from areas well north of the region! Please share with those watery-eyed, sneezing friends! #lawx

A change in the pattern on the way into the first week of April for much of the Central U.S. and Louisiana with a potentially wetter pattern developing. Temperatures stay well above normal for much of the country from the Rockies south and eastward. And without any specificity, some severe weather episodes can be expected in the usual favored areas as the pattern become more active rain-wise into next month. #lawx

Copy and paste weather for Acadiana through Friday; cool front arrives late Friday night bringing a little cool down for this weekend. Thereafter, the pattern becomes warmer and more humid next week along with the chance of some shower activity next week. We're not looking at a while lot of rain or coverage across the area, but that may become more likely in the 12-16 day period...but is not a bankable forecast! #lawx

2/ Rainless cool front on the way Friday night (around midnight give or take a few hours) that brings a breath of fresh air and breezy, cooler conditions Saturday accompanied by highs in the low-mid 70s and lows Saturday night in the lower 50s. Warming back up for Sunday afternoon and it stays warmer than normal (and more humid) into next week, but with some lower end rain chances developing...no soakers or anything definitive yet, and probably beyond the next 10 days. #lawx
