fun update on Kusho as i crawl out of paternity leave back into the light i have been asked irl a handful this Q1 if I believe in NFTs still, especially against the backdrop of Kusho’s Familiars non-nft character IP growing so much on web2 platforms and answer is i think digital collectibles are inevitable onchain. i think building an IP born out of PFPs has been the right goal, and using onchain primitives for the bottom of the funnel is the path to success — we’ve stuck to this and will see it through via Shojin’s own path as an IP in Kusho World’s multiverse. AI makes so much possible, but capturing without distribution (IP) and without a strategy for customer ownership (digital collectibles), will cause tough starts and death by leaked value. we’ve been doing the ugly tough work thus far and will continue to do so. and onchain, that will exist on @Ronin_Network for @Kusho_World

December 2025, we promised our community a final decision on the onchain home of Shojin by Q1 2026, you have that decision now. Shojin PFP collection will be migrating to @Ronin_Network. No fuss or fake hype, no special deal with the Ronin team. We simply have come to our own conviction that Ronin is the right place for the IP and eco onchain infrastructure long term given our dev core pool and the positioning + abstraction readiness of Ronin. Our upcoming ecosystem Collector Profiles will be on Ronin for onchain attribution, and future onchain support for contributors to tap into our IP ecosystem will be on Ronin. Migration experience for Transformed Shojin PFPs is aimed for soonest possible after Ronin’s official return to Ethereum. @SovrunOfficial remains a key supporter of Kusho World, as early as mid-2025 our alignment rapidly evolved beyond web3 and into key advances in AI. We’re excited to share developments we’ve made in AI products at a later time. We look forward to finally bringing Shojin (and Kusho) home to @Ronin_Network. See you all on the other side 🌀
