@LBC @mrjamesob Ok, so attack the kids. They go one of two ways - improved behaviour through fear = submissive, or they fight back = (apparent) bad behaviour. You expel the kids with fight (resisting oppression), and you keep on the submissives. Tidy work for your diligent little army production

@LBC @mrjamesob My highly anxious autistic teenage daughter would get told off by her pastoral dept for ringing me when they weren’t listening to her, she had so so many occasions when she couldn’t cope in school. She is now being home tutored via our Lea and is a different child!

@MichaelRosenYes @thepetitioner As you can see I wouldn’t be able to teach her myself 😂 . I totally agree, my daughter is so driven to self learn.. her own way at her own pace is so fruitful. I have nothing but love for her school and teachers, just not the curriculum.

@MichaelRosenYes @thepetitioner Agreed! My 7y/o is an avid LOVES reader and writer. I hate the thought that the curriculum might dampen her enthusiasm at such a young age. Deschooling feels so attractive sometimes.

I think teaching grammar, syntax and the structure of sentences as conventions, knowledge about language, dialect, codes, registers, social uses of language etc can and should be taught at secondary school

We have now been told by 6 doctors in different areas that their workplace is being told to throw away waste vaccines (from missed appointments) at the end of the day instead of giving NHS staff their second dose. We're compiling written evidence then will approach the press.
