Being in the Furs was a classic not seeing the wood for the trees moment. Such a great band and fantastic songs if you don’t know them check out their music. Richard is also a very gifted painter.

@TRextasyBand @beatgirl67 I loved watching it in IMAX where it was massive, loud, & more immersive. A Godzilla-sized Bowie is a wonderful thing to witness. It looses a lot of its pomp & grandeur on a smaller screen. There it feels incomplete & somewhat incoherent rather than definitive or informative.

@beatgirl67 I’ve been a fan since 1972 and bought albums etc since then. I didn’t find the ‘experience’ forthcoming. Not enough Bowie visuals and too much mash-ups and non-Bowie clips. Too much ‘art for arts sake’.

I’m a Bowie fan, but just watched ‘Moonage Daydream’ on Netflix, and I know I’m in the minority here, but I found it hard going. Good interviews but without visuals, too many non-Bowie clips, too many mash-ups instead of playing rare footage in full, too much already seen footage
