@MtgNosferatu @fireshoes @MTG_Arena In 2023 they resolved a client issue (crashed g3 and couldn't reconnect) by adding 1 win to my record which got me into day 2. I hope they give you a similar resolution

The server came back but by then only 30 minutes remained. Played a match, won, 6-1 record. When the match ended, the 30 minutes had expired and the event disappeared. This is because the server went down and ate 2 hours of the allotted time.

@MTG_Arena I hope a reasonable resolution for the bo3 qualifier can be reached. I invested a lot of time to practice for this event and the qualifier specifically.

Chairs suck for anyone over 200lbs, bathrooms overcrowded and smell rancid, any seats near the door are sub freezing temps, added 600+ seats with no extra prizes. How about some accountability and not let the t/o just do whatever they want at the players expense. Abuses of power?

For those heading to spotlight Toronto today, rideshare apps do NOT bring you where you want for the event. If you get dropped off at the default location you have to walk for 15 min

The con center for #SpotlightEclipsed is the worst I've ever been to for magic. Horrible location, no coat check (middle of winter?), barely heated, and near nothing lol. Even by 2026 MtG event standards this is pretty bad

Battled back from 1-3 to 5-3 at PT richmond day 1! Think I made a few poor decisions in the draft, one of which was registering 18 lands 41 cards accidentally 😅. Got quite lucky in the final constructed rounds. Our deck is nice but the Harmonizer deck cft cooked was nicer

@jakeformayor Not embarrassing at all, very impressive. Playing a PT at all is an accomplishment that should be celebrated. It's okay to not be a PT regular. I actively prefer being an "upper level amateur" since I don't want to put too many hours into the game.

A couple of pros have posted my Elo lately as a dunk. It's BAD! But I'm also very proud of it.
I took a 20+ year break. I played my first tourney in 2021. I worked my ass off and a year later, I had my 1st PT invite.
If you think that's embarrassing, we value different things.

I cannot with the complaining about Richmond. You never leave the testing house (which is 50% less than Chicago) and your doordash dino nuggets cost nothing. Stop pretending you go to museums or the clurb or Michelin start restaurants you little babies. Richmond is fine.

The Arena Limited Championship Qualifier "Draft 2" should absolutely be BO3, not BO1. All high stakes play should require players to have sideboarding skills.

Arena screwing up the day 2 sign up window is pretty bizarre. But not as bizarre as the entire concept of a sign up window in the first place. Why don't we simply add everyone who day 2s arena events to day 2 automatically?

I think it's time for @MTG_Arena to remove Arena-only formats. Nobody plays these outside of Arena Qual season, and they are always ridiculously unbalanced. Cut the losses now and focus on the client itself and paper formats.
