Think too many people police transitioning as being a set process that can be done incorrectly, when the whole basis of transness relies on gender being a whole spectrum of expression.
There’s no right or wrong way to transition, only ways to better express the person you are.

For me, stuff like hair and skincare, shaving, and learning make up properly were genuinely much higher priorities then getting on HRT. But I will never claim that any of them are any more or less important than the other, because everyone transitions in different ways.

One of the driving factors behind me transitioning in the first place was someone saying that you can just do it if you want to, not necessarily if you feel like to need to. And without that advice, I would probably never have transitioned in the first place.
