@vikramtitan It very much depends on the number of cameras, and devices you’re going to manage really. I’m only running a couple of cams on mine but have got around 50 IOT devices that HA runs. You can see the spec of my beeline box on my blog

@sam_akroyd I am using Zima board to run HA Os as server. I feel this board will be overloaded if I use frigate(with 12 CCTVs). Also to increase redundancy I am using a separate box.I will be using TPU only for detecting from frigate. Appreciate ur opinion on this set up?anyways to improve

@sam_akroyd Good morning Sam. I read your blog first and second part on Frigate and HA. I am confused after reading.For 12 CCTV camera set up with frigate as NVR and integration with HA, I assumed this was the set up needed.

@vikramtitan I would have it plugged into your frigate box if that’s the only thing you’re using the TPU for. Is there a reason you’ve separated them out? Is it just that your HAOS box is underpowered?

@sam_akroyd Separate servers for frigate and HAOS. Connect the frigate to HA via HA Integration, use MQTT to communicate between HA and frigate for automation and notification.Where should I physically connect coral TPU?
