dean feeling helpless, knowing that nothing can make sam feel better about their past. I’m doing a rewatch of the entire show after years and my god i almost forgot how tired sam was. my poor sammy

this is devastating in ways i can’t even explain. sam thinking he isn’t clean since he was a little kid. the thought of sending the demons back to hell forever with the trials making him feel like he was being purified, even though it wasn’t his fault what the demons did to him

the angel is like: your obsession with sam is the reason why the demons are walking, sam knows so i know that too. dean:

john saved dean sure but he also told him to kill his brother, leaving a weight on his shoulders he didn’t deserve so yeah let’s kill john winchester again

he always wanted to escape, his whole life he wanted that, he wanted normal and sometimes he got that, but in the end he always chose dean. they both did bad things to and for each other, but they never could stay away for long. they’re so toxic and what can i say, i love it

sam was surrounded by demons his whole life, blamed for things he was manipulated to do by demons and angels, heard the worst words from the people he loved, felt like a freak and it wasn’t his fault, suffered many forms of abuse and still found the strength to forgive. to stay

dean feeling guilty because he knows that for the first time he can’t and won’t do what his father told him. he would rather die (multiple times) than lose sam
