An oversimplified, reductive, nonsense. The most insulated countries from oil crises are those who've transitioned furthest and fastest to nuclear and renewables.
Having minor increases in oil supply in a few years time won't make a dent in global oil prices.

I'm so glad that instead of treating care work as a dignified profession (with a reasonable salary to accompany it) we chose to import thousands of people willing to work in poor conditions for shit pay - and somehow this is something "progressive" that should be celebrated.
