Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

The reason the Dem establishment is trying to cancel @hasanthehun is they know their voters agree with him on major issues. And if Hasan continues to gain prominence, their populist ideas will become more and more powerful in American discourse. And that terrifies them.

There is an organized effort to stop Hasan Piker and despite the accusations of antisemitism there is one thing missing: evidence. Much of the criticism comes from the conservative wing of the Democratic Party, including AIPAC money recipients and other Pro-Israel donors and lobbyists, which is not surprising given Piker’s outspoken criticism of the apartheid state of Israel. The real reason Hasan is being smeared is the same reason the Democratic Party is struggling: Piker connects with young people and left-leaning audiences in a way the party has failed to do. Instead, Democrats have spent heavily on influencers who are uncharismatic, inauthentic, and speak nothing about policies. Just vibes, sound familiar? They are trying to copy the right-wing media ecosystem without understanding that those creators grew organically by challenging power, not defending it. Manufactured influencers who simply repeat party messaging do not resonate and no amount of funding will convince anyone otherwise. Most of the audience that will listen to the Piker smears on mainstream media are boomers like my 83-year-old boyfriend’s dad who asked me about Hasan. He looked him up and is now watching him. As per usual Democratic party strategist are miscalculating because the smears only activated every single one of Piker’s 3 million followers and they are pushing back harder. In the end, the true winner of all this discourse will be Hasan. Don’t be surprised if his audience grows after all of this. At a time when the Israeli government has made it legal to hang Palestinians, establishment liberal media (mostly Zionists) think it’s a good idea to attack a relatable figure who understands the base.

This is apartheid, plain and simple. Palestinian prisoners already experience injustice in Israeli military courts, torture in Israeli prisons, and now executions legalized by the Israeli government. No more genocide and no more ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
