@COSullivanTD We need some answers! Dolf D’Hondt raises some issues for clarification on behalf of our group. Following the governments restrictions announced on trawling activity, we are struggling to see “the good news for conservation” as claimed by the Minister last week.

The first meeting in what promises to be a lengthy campaign to ‘save our sprat,’ and protect the biodiversity of Bantry Bay, was attended by about 250 people recently, and among them were fishermen who refuted many of the claims being made. southernstar.ie/news/sprat-mee…
