I have voted Labor since I was 18 I'm now 72. I am unable to even think of voting for Labor or Albanese. This is not a decision made lightly or spontaneously. The party no longer represents me. I hope all Labor Voters feel the same.

There are already multiple advisory bodies, targeted programs, and significant funding directed specifically at First Nations communities. The real issue is whether creating a separate structure based on ancestry improves outcomes

@kikaoldman @hawford Actually that is a misunderstanding. First Nations are a minority correct? Now they don't get a say in what policies affect them. So what the voice would do is take their views to Parliament. It was still under parliament & then parliament makes the final decision.

@kikaoldman @hawford There r more than enough homes in Australia 2 house everyone sitting permanently empty. Every homeless person everyone on waiting lists. Houses r being built faster than pop growth proving immigration is not the cause. There are many factors as I have outlined & proved.

@schmidt4sturt @hawford We dragged ourselves into this by officially recognising Palestine to keep Labor voters happy. The Middle East conflict has been going for decades—we’ve got bigger fish to fry here. It costs us too—over $130M in aid since 2023 and it impacts social cohesion at home.

@kikaoldman @hawford We are not sending aid to Palestine anymore. Because Israel claimed UNWRA was funding Hamas. It was proven a lie but there you go. We don't have to put our troops there. And its going on for decades because everyone appeases Israel. Instead of stop selling them weapons.

@kikaoldman @hawford The voice was a good idea. We dont have to cut aid. How many with Aukus? As I said cutting Aukus alone would fund lots of things. There is billions more waste besides Aukus without cutting into essential services and aid.
