Nickeil Alexander-Walker shares his favorite Anthony Edwards story 💀 “The semi finals game 7… We’re down 20 and go on this insane run. There’s this one guy who’s sitting court-side talking crazy to everybody this whole game. He hits a 3 and in the most Ant way possible he points at him and goes ‘WHERE YOU AT? WHERE YOU AT N****?’ I was dying. In the moment his 3 was putting the game away. The entire gym was silent so you just hear us. You don’t hear no one from Denver. You just hear our entire bench and Ant yelling at some 50 year old guy from Denver” (Via @OldManAndThree)

Nickeil Alexander-Walker on when he realized SGA was special growing up: “The thing with him that stood out to me, he didn’t get emotional with the game. He was very consistent in like ‘bro I know I’m gonna make it no matter how bad it is right now.’ He just stuck to his work. He would watch film of like Steph or Kyrie and the next day implementing it in our workouts… For me I was frustrated with the game. I used to get so mad… But he never wavered. That’s why now to this day people see the calm and the aura that they talk about. He’s been that way his entire upbringing of basketball. He just had faith in it and whatever happened, did it suck to him? Yeah but he had so much emotional control that it never wavered” (Via @OldManAndThree)

The Los Angeles Lakers are waiving guard Kobe Bufkin, sources tell ESPN. This opens a roster spot for the Lakers to evaluate a signing over the weekend.

Anthony Davis says he always envisioned playing with Luka and thought Dallas traded for him to team up with Luka “Luka is so cold, bro. We used to talk about Luka all the time. Be like, ‘Imagine me with Luka… oh my God.’” (@NBA__Courtside)

@DRiceHockey @schuckster @WadexFlash If you had reading comprehension, you'd be able to tell I'm referring to his lack of accountability for his actions. Getting confronted by the man you offended and saying "oh I was young" (which he wasn't) to excuse your actions is the issue. It having no accountability.

Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki on the “fake coughing” incident during the 2011 NBA Finals: Dirk: “I didn’t appreciate it…to me it felt a little disrespectful — I felt like I never had to fake an injury, I never had to fake an illness…I thought it was childish…” Wade: “In the moment of being young and having one of those moments of where “oh he’s sick” and did a fake cough and boom it went everywhere…once you look at it then you’re like okay it was a childish moment that was caught on camera..” Dirk: “we probably should’ve had this conversation a long time ago.” (via @wynetwork)

@WadexFlash Wade was 29 years old and in his 8th season. That's not "being young" anymore. That's borderline back half of your career territory.

@MarkWaldoWard @jowrotethis Yes. someone who has already made millions of dollars and frankly should have gone to prison for, again, sexually harassing multiple women, should absolutely and unequivocally have their professional opportunities limited. He’s a terrible human, and a worse comedian

@abhasto @WorldWideWob you're in a tiff by actors pretending to do an April fools skit at a basketball game. None of this is real life. None of this has consequences.

Most annoying part of this is that enough people complained, forcing them to tweet the statement below. People will believe anything they see without an ounce of critical thinking. Second most annoying part of this is the Wizards thinking an unremarkable number of accounts, all probably with Spongebob profile pictures, negatively commenting on the skit warranted a public apology. Nobody was watching this game live or in person, a couple people just used the video as a vehicle to project their insecurities and the bots repeat/intensify what they say. Complainers couldve spent that energy complimenting the actors, who were so good that many actually believed this poor, innocent guy had been genuinely trolled out of $10,000. And now it has me looking the worst of all complaining about complaining. I hope all of you never see the show Jury Duty. Actually, I do. Because maybe we’ll all get free Amazon Prime if you organize like this again.
