The civil servants at CDC, NIH, and FDA are invaluable to our national health, emergency response, and economy, both for their dedicated efforts and deep experience.
Their jobs are worth far more than $25K. Don't take the buyout.

600 million seems high for Twitter.
however many "followers" I am supposed to have, I would estimate that only about 20 persons actually see my tweets; engagement is minimal. you are surely correct--many of the accounts are fraudulent. we are often responding to bots. what a waste of time! but here & there, an actual valuable person!

@JoyceCarolOates This platform has been packed with accounts created in Russia, Qatar, and Iran since Elon took over, he encouraged it because it makes it look like the platform was growing when it was actually contracting drastically. Down from 1.8 billion users to less than 600 million.
