@Dscottph325 @scotttappa We shoot much better off the catch than any amount of dribbles, not counting layups of course. We don’t take many mid-range. Catch n shoot 3’s or get to the rim!

@Dscottph325 Awesome! I've never coached girls, just boys, but I don't know that affects my instinct that jump shooters are more accurate off the catch than off the dribble. Looks like your early data suggests the same!

That's awesome Derek, thanks for sharing! I've found that once you start talking in terms of PPP it becomes second-hand, and it really is the best way to measure efficiencies on both ends of the court. Glad you enjoyed the book!

@scotttappa loved reading your book on analytics. I started using vps 6 years ago to give me another tool to analyze playing time. Your book opened me up to the value of PPP which I had never considered. I also have used a lot of color coded shot charts to help our shooters.
