Let's be clear: An American presidential nominee is running a campaign challenging the racial/ethnic purity of his opponent based upon the racial/ethnic definition of her parents. This is exactly what became normalized in 1930s Germany under the Nuremberg Laws requiring racial/ethnic classification of parents. Perhaps the Trump campaign can produce a chart that will clarify exactly how much "blood" is required to claim Black or Indian or Caucasian identity.
