Jones is the definition of a bucket. He can score effectively on all 3 levels and doesn’t shy away from anyone. A super tough combo guard who can create his own shot at any point in the game. He has incredible speed especially with the ball. It is very hard to keep in front of him. Paired with an elite handle it is very hard for defenders to try to dance with Jones on the perimeter.

To put in perspective of how well Jones can score, this season Jones made 57 2 point shots outside of the paint. On those 57 makes 0 were assisted. Jones has the ability to create space and knock down mid range shots. He has super quick step backs and can stop and go to the hoop on a dime. He even can create for others, his leverage at the hoop allows him to kick out for easy 3s for his teammates.

In my opinion there isn’t a reason that Jones should not be playing at HM Level next season. A true scorer with his ability/efficiency is hard to come by. He has proven he can play at that level too, 16 points vs SMU, 22 against UNC, 27 against UNCW. A absolute gem in a stacked transfer portal!

He led the Highlanders to consecutive wins with 26.0 points 🪣 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 52.9 percent from the field and sinking the game-winning layup against Longwood 🤩
@RadfordHoops' Del Jones is the #BigSouthMBB🏀 Co-Player of the Week!
Radford guard Del Jones out there toying with defenders on his way to 27 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 10-16 FG, 4-6 3FG in a win over Presbyterian. One of the more electric single game tapes you will see.
Del Jones, one of the best mid major guards in the country, looked very comfortable against No. 18 North Carolina dropping 22 points for Radford.
Definitely a guard to keep an eye on this season.
Radford’s Del Jones looks like a way too early candidate for “he’s too good to be at a mid major”
Seriously an effortless performance for the Clemson transfer
22 points
3 rebounds
3 assists
8-14 FG
31 minutes
Plays with a ton of flair and confidence, extremely creative as well
Had solid moments at Clemson but struggled a bit with consistency, still was clearly a HM level player and now has the chance to really do damage at the mid major level.

Clemson freshman Del Jones has gone right at Cooper Flagg on a layup, and just drained a 3 in Flagg's face.
Even did a "shush" gesture as he went back on the defensive end.
Definitely some swagger in that young man.
