The ECDoH reports that, following a suspected food poisoning incident in Msintsi, four of the seven affected children have been discharged, one remains in critical care, and two sadly passed away. Investigations are ongoing, with food samples and clinical tests underway.

We need to work closely together with all pharmaceutical sectors and strive for similar objectives. I look forward to this opportunity of leading the South African Association, of 3500, Hospital and Institutional Pharmacists. Now is the time!

For us to surge ahead, we need to move together in unison, support each other, and ensure that all cadres of hospital pharmacy in both public and private settings are fully engaged and included.
