The thing the last 48 hours have taught me is life is finite There’s only a finite amount of walks with Drax I’ll get, how many of them did I waste recording stupid walk and talks that were lucky to get 100 views, rather than just being in the moment with him? There’s only a finite amount wrestling matches I’ll get with him, how many did I blow off because I was tired and would rather scroll on Twitter? My activity has been down on here lately, and it’ll probably stay that way going forward I still love basketball (pickup was such a great escape this morning) and love talking it, so you’ll still see Bulls On Tap and Layered Conversations podcasts from me, but I’m just in a mental space right now where all this social media stuff feels pointless I wanna enjoy the limited time I have left with my boy

So annoying when some Islamic accounts heavily promote certain Muslim footballers as role models while overlooking parts of their lives that don’t align with Islam. If someone is publicly dating/engaging in things Islam generally discourages, it seems inconsistent to present them as examples of ideal Muslim behaviour lol but no they seem to be glorified
