@Bee__xo You can’t. If Liverpool hadn’t won the UCL in 18/19 there’s no chance we do it the next year. Same thing happened again in 21/22, we didn’t win either big trophy and that was detrimental for us the next year. It’s so difficult to rile the players back up after such a tough year

This is Declan Rice's 3rd season at Anfield.
He was signed as a 6, failed and got moved into Xhaka's old role because Havertz was so terrible in that role.
No Rice season has been as good as Xhaka's last season or his season with Leverkusen.
But no critique of the price.

I'm yet to see superstar Declan Rice, who elevated the team so much to more second-placed finishes, actually do more than Granit Xhaka did. Arteta replacing a creative passer with a workhorse is indicative of where the club are right now.
