Recently, I watched the TV adaptation of Mr. Yukito Ayatsuji's (綾辻行人先生)The Clock House Murders『時計館の殺人』, and I was once again blown away by it!

Before around 2010, Western detective stories dominated the scene, with Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie being the most widely read. Ellery Queen had a following, but it was small and lacked significant influence.

Chinese mystery writers almost never read works by their domestic peers, nor do they show any interest in doing so—simply because there are far too many translated novels to keep up with.

Honoured to be selected as arecommended writer in the first phase of theInternational Communication Program for ChineseYoung Writers, launched at the London Book Fair.

I think AI should be used in the future to detect plagiarism and to indicate the level of AI involvement in a work—what parts were generated by AI and what parts were conceived and written by the author. Otherwise, it’s unfair to writers who don’t use AI.
