Privacy will be the most important moat in crypto

Privacy is not hiding transaction data, it's eliminating transaction data.

Crypto cards improved access, not economics. Market is filled with 100s of crypto cards and 100 more coming soon. Almost everyone is launching card. Issue is crypto cards are broken. 1. Merchant Fees Stay High: Even when paying with stablecoins, transactions still flow across Visa/Mastercard’s fee stack, typically 1.5–3.5%. None of the cost advantages of stablecoins reach merchants. 2. Middlemen Still Dominate: Issuers, processors, networks, and other participants all take their cut and introduce delays. Stablecoins enter the system, but the system itself doesn’t change. 3. Operational Complexity for Card Issuers: Crypto card operators must handle stablecoin custody, instant conversion, liquidity, and regulatory overhead. All in all, a structurally heavy business.
