Mohammad was wearing his child bride Aisha's clothes - and he had awareness of how others might perceive him for doing so. This woolen shirt that Mohammad was wearing - it's called a "mirt." It's typically green and only worn by WOMEN.
Why would a "prophet of god" command such strict gender roles and way of dress, while he is the one dressing up in Aisha's clothing? 🧐
Sa'id ibn al-'As reported that 'Uthman and 'A'isha told him that Abu Bakr asked for permission to come in to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was lying of 'A'isha's bed, wearing 'A'isha's woollen shirt. He gave Abu Bakr permission to enter while he was like that. he gave him what he needed and then Abu Bakr left. Then 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, asked for permission to come in and he gave him permission to come in while he was like that. He gave him what he needed and then 'Umar left. 'Uthman said, "Then I asked for permission to come in and he sat up and told 'A'isha, 'Take your garment.' I told him what I needed and then I left.' 'A'isha asked, 'Messenger of Allah, why did I see that you did not do for Abu Bakr and 'Umar what you did for 'Uthman?' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ''Uthman is a modest man and I feared that if I gave him permission to come in while I was in that state he would not tell me what he needed.'" @Xhrusade @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Yeah but Jesus isn't God, Jesus submitted to God, Jesus prayed to God
If and God are one, he wouldn't do any of that. Logically it doesn't make sense
English

@silverdono @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly problem is even if Jesus called himself God u'd say that the text is corrupted 🤣 He says I and the father are one, u reject it, He says he who has seen her has seen the father, u reject it, Thomas calls him God worships him Christ let's him,u reject it
English

@Xhrusade @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Yeah, that also was edited multiple times
English

@silverdono @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Lol have you ever read homers Odyssey the Iliad was written 700 BC still the same story
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly You believe what you want, all we say that we don't believe that Jesus ever called himself God as he himself submitted to God and we follow that part of his teaching
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly If the Jews and Christians read their current scriptures that are corrupted how would that confirm Muhammad's revelations?! If anything that would cause them not to line up if Allah is telling him they will. So Allah should know that part.
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Being corrupt and asking people of the book are not mutually exclusive
You might be wrong about many topics and still right about others
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Why doesn't the Quran say that the prior scriptures are corrupt? Instead of telling Muhammad if you are in doubt go ask the people that have been reading the prior scriptures. Shouldn't Allah know that the current scriptures are corrupted if that is the case?
English

@Xhrusade @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly It is actually a very strong evidence since no other book was able to achieve this level of consistency
English

@silverdono @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly The preservation of the Quran is not evidence that it has divine origin Satan would also preserve a false document that leads people towards idolatry.
English

@Saiah_98 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly I'm just sharing facts proven by all studies ever conducted on the Quran
English

@silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly When your heart is hardened to the truth, that’s always the case.
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Torah in particular is the worst book to reference and no they weren't accurate in the times of Muhammed but doesn't mean they weren't fully fake
We don't believe everything is fake, we are doubting many aspects in these books
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly I was talking about the Torah and The Gospels. Were they accurate at the time of Muhammad because it doesn't say anywhere in the Quran that the previous scriptures were corrupted. If that is the case wouldn't Allah who is all knowing state that?!
English

@Saiah_98 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Quran is the only consistent book to ever exist
Arguing otherwise is pointless
English

@silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly So there is no consistency, therefore no 1:1.
It’s not that hard to accept or understand.
English

@silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Perfection = flawless
Preservation of the Quran = flawed
Doubts are normal, but to argue that the claim of perfect preservation is false, is more than a doubt.
You can ignore it all you like, but sooner or later you’ll have swallow that tough pill
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly There was an attempt, actually there are still attempts, Quran is still maintains the original script since Muhammed time
One attempt was actually was exposed by a blind man who found an error in a copy that was released in USA which was retracted
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Was it accurate at the time of Muhammad? Because he doesn't say it was corrupted at his time neither did Allah.
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Orthodox bible = Protestant bible ?
Français

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Versions are just translations of the original manuscripts since it was written in every single language.
English

@Saiah_98 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly People dont remember things the same way, Uthman burned all the copies to avoid a mistake, then gathered all people who memorized the Quran to write down the actual version which we have today
Quran is preserved through memorizing it, writing is just for documentation
English

@silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly One version because he burnt the others. Thus making this 1:1 claim false. Therefore it cannot be consistent from the time of Mohammed to today.
I didn’t write history, I just read it
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Quran was fully written and verified before Muhammed died, it was collected in today's form after he died
We don't doubt that Jesus wrote a bible, we doubt what is written today is what Jesus wrote
Im sure it is close but we mostly doubt him claiming to be God
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Ok the Quran was compiled after Muhammad died so we can say the same thing. Especially after they burned all the other Quranic scriptures from other scribes that didn't match up with Zayd ibn Thabit.
English

@NickDonato26 @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Nah if she thinks otherwise thats no her, can't have a killer beard like that and doubt the handsomeness
English

@silverdono @Xhrusade @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Thanks for the Handsome comment as well. You might need to convince my wife of the same thing.
English

@Xhrusade @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly We believe in Jesus and we believe he said what reassembles the bible, we don't believe any of the Versions (plural) are what Jesus actually said
English

@silverdono @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Your premise is that the Gospels are unreliable because they're written decades after Christ by eye witnesses. But u accept another document claiming what Jesus said written 600 years later by a nobody. The eye witnesses died brutal deaths for their claims
English

@Saiah_98 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Precautionary action
To be Human is to think and to doubt, this way of thinking is what protects the Quran as we keep checking and verifying to avoid any potential of error
Allah and Quran are perfect, we humans are not
English

@silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly But if it’s 1:1 why is there any disagreement in the first place?
Why are there Muslims within the Muslim community arguing that the perfect preservation of the Quran is factually false?
English

@Xhrusade @NickDonato26 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Meh 200 or 100 years after Jesus simply means it was written during Jesus's time like mr handsome has claimed
Which simply means we can't confirm what is written in the bible is what Jesus said because he wasn't there to verify his own words
English

@NickDonato26 @silverdono @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly It's like he didn't even read his own Google search
English

@Saiah_98 @ModernDayDebate @InspiringPhilos @HassanShibly Sigh..... anyways
Today there is only one version of the Quran witn different readings
What Uthman did was the right thing to preserve the authenticity and consistency of the Quran regardless of his reasoning
Quran continues to be consistent and will always be
