So many arguments about teaching styles but at the end of the day, when a 17yo lad spends his wages from his washing up job and turns up at the school he left 7 years ago because he’s heard you’re retiring, your style, whatever it is, was enough 🥹

The session will focus on the 5 evidence-informed recommendations in our guidance and will explore the opportunities and challenges associated with implementation.

Where should we focus our efforts? Following the recent publication of the @YouthEndowFund's education practice guidance. I'm running a virtual event to bring to life our guidance on how to reduce children’s involvement in violence.

Writing this reminded me of my time as a school leader and the impact of violence on some of the children I worked with. There are things that schools can do to make a positive difference - let's focus our energy, time and resources on what works.
