I think it’s really sad when patients have serious doubts about the quality of care they’re given. My patient had blood lysis from transfusion reaction but she’s so convinced we exchanged the freshly donated blood and gave her some shit blood. Exhaustion doesn’t cut it.

Post like this is why, in every hospital I've ever worked in Nigeria, I always insist on one very important change, viz:
There must be an A&E pharmacy positioned in such a way that the dispensary window looks directly into the emergency so that pharmacists can see in real-time what emergency situations mean and look like because there is no way a pharmacist who understands how an emergency situation can get posts this

My mum is crashing out
Apparently, my mum and dad agreed to increase the house rent from 450k to 700k because "things are expensive now."
So my mum told my dad she should break the news to the tenants the next day. He said no problem.
The next day, my dad spoke to the tenants: some begged to pay 500k this year and start the new rate next year. He agreed, but one tenant refused. She said the country is hard, her business isn't making sales, and pleaded with my dad to allow her pay 450k this year, then pay the new rent next year.
After much begging, my dad agreed but he didn't tell my mum, maybe he forgot.
My mum found out last night and has been crashing out ever since she woke up . Now she keeps going on about "unity between husband and wife" and how my dad doesn’t love or value her opinion 😂
Omo, my dad is trying to explain, but she's not listening. According to her, we're the only ones in Port Harcourt taking 450k for a one-bedroom.
So please, if you're in Port Harcourt, tell me: how much is a one-bedroom flat in your area? I need numbers to console my mum 😭

I once worked with a nurse who was always at least 45 minutes late for her duty.
There was a day she came 1hr and 3 minutes late. I won mad😂.
