The debate now should be about practical solutions, in a sense how to confront the present realities. That so and so is not a migration officer or a police officer is not helping.

The migration crisis is a reality. Denial is not an option. Leaders in Africa must not shy away from discussing the causes of migration. Leadership is about confronting thorny issues.
