There is a dialogue in the film that became quite viral on Instagram, revolving around the idea of life as an orbit. What struck me personally was discovering that this widely shared dialogue actually belongs to Ghich Pich, a film I had unknowingly missed when it released.

If you’ve got ₹1000 and can only spend it on two things, watching War 2 or getting a rabies vaccine, do yourself a favor: find a dog, get bitten, and take the shot. War 2 is that painful. I went due to circumstances beyond my control. I understand that most Indian films are made for entertainment and not as art, so it’s unfair to expect logic and reasoning, and I don’t. But man, what was this? Imagine creating abs through VFX to make one of your lead look tough, but then doing it so shoddily! Not that the YRF Spyverse is some legendary franchise, but this one will definitely scrape the bottom of that list.

Ankur Singla’s ‘Ghich Pich’ is a wonderful slice of life about three boys in Chandigarh. Though the central characters are teenagers, this lightly melancholic story isn't the usual “teen movie”.  It’s about fathers & sons in “those innocent days”. Review galattaplus.com/ankur-singlas-…

During COVID, the filmmaking bug bit me. After 4.5 years of learning to write and direct, my debut feature film is finally hitting cinemas on August 8th! It's a story of fathers and sons and I think it's not a bad film :P (In cinemas ONLY - don't wait for the OTT release!)
