If you're secular then it is definitely freedom. If you're Christian it's loneliness. Modern secular women are not worth dating, and you are saving yourself a lot of hassle by not getting into a relationship with most of them. Unfortunately for Christian men, there's a lot of modern Christian women that are also not worth dating because they have a secular mindset, and usually a very troubled past. This is really sad and unfortunate for you, because our faith calls us to be fruitful and multiple. The thing that they have to do is just go back to being devoted toward God and refocusing their life toward God, which hurts because a lot of men desire children and a legacy.

Correct. It's basically glorified turn-taking with rhythm game elements. You parry/dodge the enemy string until their stance meter is broken, you hit them a couple times and then you go back to parrying/dodging. Rinse and repeat. The enemy doesn't actually respond to your input like other action games. I can't combo the enemy, or put them in a bad situation, I can't juggle the enemy, I can't forcefully respond to their tax and properly counter them, I'm just taking turns.

Here's the thing... I get what they were trying to do here, but it doesn't make sense for Eve as a character in the world they live in... why would raising a child alone be a problem for her or scary? She doesn't have a job that she needs, She doesn't go to school, Her powers can literally create amazing shelter and resources (food and diapers) for her and the kid. For petesake, she used to live in a tree house mansion for months without end. And if it's about losing her free time, she could easily hire a babysitter for the days she wants for herself. I mean... if it was someone like Amber, I understand she's a normal human being she can't magic up shit to help her with a crying child that needs constant attention and care. BUT EVE IS A LITERAL GOD IN HUMAN FLESH! That kid needs a diaper change she can flip her finger, and it's done. Not to mention she'd have Debby, and in the time I guess Paul... who would be glad to help from time to time. So, it doesn't make sense, because Eve isn't a normal scared human girl without options and choices to survive on her own with a baby compared to most young woman, so message goes flat and has no weight but making her look selfish. This feels more insulting than inspiring.

And before you ask, Omniman is a horrible and evil person who just killed a bunch of innocent people. Even though that was a part of his culture, and even though he regrets it and is remorseful for it, he still did all of those evil actions to a bunch of innocent people, including children. Even though Omni man was a product of his culture, and psychological manipulation, he still had the presence of mind and active ability to choose to not do these things. He knows morally what he did is wrong, and he could have chosen something else. In time, I might forgive him, but he has to be better, that will not fundamentally stop him from being evil for what he did, just a reformed evil. The same thing goes for Adam Eve

Yes I do look at her selfish and stupid actions with contempt. She murdered a child even though she can create all of the resources for that child, and she can raise that child with not only her supposed "lover's" mother, but everyone else that cared for him too. She's erasing his legacy because she couldn't conquer her fear, a significantly less terrifying fear than what Mark has to conquer every day when he goes to fight people of impossibly superior strength and potentially die. Her being scared doesn't save her from being a selfish, cowardly, child murderer

The only reason why anybody could for any reason side with Eve on this, is if they just fundamentally don't believe that human life is precious and should be protected. Especially not of babies. The argument of whether a child in the womb is a human or not as basically been resolved. It is a cake that is currently baking, when it comes to its conclusion it comes out as a full-blown cake. If you ruin the cake before it's done baking you have destroyed a cake. For all intense and purposes that's what you're doing. You are killing a child, and we are supposed to somehow be okay with that because it's a woman who holds the decision. The people who hold this view are fundamentally evil, there is nothing we can do to resolve our differences or compromise with them, our world user diametrically opposed. These people would rationalize in their head, that Mark's sacrifice and life is less important than Eve's fear and inconvenience. Mark having to overcome his fear and nearly die is less significant than Eve's fear of being a mother to his legacy. This is all because Mark is a man and Eve is a woman. And once you understand that these people literally think that men's lives are this disposable and worth so little, you understand why boys and men have fundamentally swapped over to consuming anime and manga, that actually fundamentally cares about them and considers them people worthwhile. You understand why the American entertainment system is fundamentally collapsing. And why young men today absolutely hate anything to do with the west. Everything that spawns from this leftist worldview is worthless, and is morally bankrupt.

@slashtechsam @MugenLord It'd be a lot more nuanced cuz either way, Mark has no way of knowing until it was too late. He could still blame himself but itd moreso come from not being there to support her at the loss of their child. He fought for her, and lost on two fronts.

This part of the episode was wild because Mark, Oliver, and his dad were nearly killed trying to protect Earth. But somehow, Eve is the victim, and Mark is apologizing for it.
It showed that she had no faith that Mark would make it home alive. She looked him dead in the eye before he left, telling him not to worry, and aborted his child during the months he was away.
Her excuse was that she would have felt alone if she had had the child and Mark didn't make it back. ALONE? REALLY?
You have people saying, "Eve has shitty parents, and the living conditions wouldn't be great." So, you all forgot Mark's mother, Debbie, exists? Don't give me that "Debbie already has too much on her plate." Are you fucking serious? This is Debbie, the woman who practically married Superman and has a son who is Invincible.
Debbie is the strongest woman in this show, and one hell of a mother. Omni Man ends up creating a child (Oliver) from another female species, and Debbie decides to raise another woman's child that isn't hers, and you are trying to tell me Debbie wouldn't be able to handle being a Grandmother? That is her blood, and she would make a way out of nowhere if shit got bad for Eve.
If Mark did die, that would be more than enough reason to keep the child. That child is his living legacy for protecting the fucking Universe. It's crazy how Mark is such a simp and taking blame for Eve aborting his fucking child.

Let's compare this to Chichi from Dragon ball, Goku dies sacrificing himself to save the planet, and she not only raises his two kids by herself, but still remains faithful to him and is excited for him to return. She still head over heels in love with her husband, even after 7 years of being completely absent. Another example of "thing Japan" being better.

Not to mention it's not a matter of resources, Eve can literally create whatever she wants. Let's not forget that she lived in her own fucking treehouse for several months because she just created it out of thin air. She wants for nothing, if the baby was running low on any kind of supplies or anything, she literally can create it out of thin air. There's absolutely no excuse for her to literally erase marks living legacy because she was too fucking scared what the fuck! And then later on in the series something nearly as bad happens. She completely moves on and gets with some fucking alien dude. Again faithless, again ready to switch up at the moment's notice. Then you look at other series like Dragon ball, Chichi lost Goku for 7 years never moved on from that, stayed faithful to him and raised his children. In literally every conceivable way. THING JAPAN IS BETTER

Listen, people keep on making this post, and what they're not realizing is this. Nolan for the majority of the time that she was with him, was the love of his life, a perfect husband, and a wonderful man. Yes he is a horrible person who killed a bunch of innocent people. Nobody is covering for him on that front. The reality of it though is, Debbie isn't thinking about all of those innocent people that Nolan killed, she is thinking about the man that she spent nearly 20 years of her life with who is nothing but amazing. That's the man that she truly misses and loves, that's the man that she mourns for, that's the man she wants to return to. When he comes back and is truly remorseful for what he's done, that's what Debbie is running back to. Nolan still has to atone for all of the horrible things he's done, but that is the man she is choosing to forgive and be with.
And I do have to say that it does require a lot of strength, especially with the morally upstanding characters that she has proven to be before this point. If she had this selfishness kept into her heart, she would have tried to kill Oliver rather than raise him. She would blame the child for the sins of the father, but she doesn't do that. It really is Eve that we should be hating at this point in the story. What could be literally the last remnants of Mark's existence and his legacy to the world as well as his dedication and heroism manifested in their child, who she could easily take care of not only giving her powers, but given who marks mom is, and who she is, she decided to still selfishly abort the baby and blame mark for going out and risking his life to protect the entire of the world. Mark does nothing but try to be his best and do his best and be a hero, his legacy gets erased and killed, but his father gets to have his legacy continue by way of all of her. Absolute insanity.
