@AndyElche Z2, Z2 and more Z2! I just kept my arm in the sling but bought a mesh one to help a bit with the sweat. I also didn’t like the turbo trainer because it felt too unstable and ended up buying a second hand Wattbike, which was a revelation and I still have it 7 years later.

So I don't have many followers😆 but I'd like to ask something to help my recovery from my crash and broken Cavicle With one arm, I'm getting a turbo trainer tomorrow. How best to use it, to aid my fitness and recovery As still got at least a month off bike #cyclingtwitter 🙏🏻

@bicycletherapy @RichardGlazer @nedboulting Nifedipine gave me a stinking headache so it wasn’t for me. Bar mitts have been a revelation though. They look ridiculous but I can ride without gloves in 2/3°C now.

@gcntweet I emailed support on 20th December about not receiving an email with the 3 month trial code. This is the reply I got tonight from Discovery+ support. Customer service clearly not high on their priority list. Bring back GCN+ 🙁

@daniellloyd1 it seems some GCN+ subscribers have been sent emails with a 3 month trial of Discovery+. I haven’t received one. Any idea if the codes are single-use or can I just use someone else’s?

Thanks so much for all the kind messages today about the demise of GCN+. and the GCN app. You never know how much something is appreciated until it's gone - it's been heartwarming to read through them. I'm devastated, obviously. Primarily for the incredibly hard working, talented people who are losing their jobs. They are passionate fans of the sport, just like the rest of us, and that shone through in their work. I know there are lots of questions to answer - some of them are answered in the video on YouTube - but I'll try and broach some others. ALL the racing that was on GCN+ will be found on WBDs digital channels in Europe (Discovery+/Eurosport depending where you are), and they're working on ways to show it to viewers outside of Europe. The Breakaway pre and post shows, and those in other languages, will continue on those platforms as before, and you'll be hearing the same familiar commentators there as well. Refunds will be given pro rata to current subscribers. Thanks again to everyone for your support. ♥️

@AnnamacB I use D+, it’s clunkier than GCN when finding cycling races. But it’s fine and ad-free and has an interactive timeline

What I’ve learned so far… So Eurosport & Discovery Plus will be the same thing. It’s £6.99 a month (or £29.99 a month if you’re loaded and want all the football) It should have road (I don’t know about non WT races), CX, track. There will be adverts? Anyone know more?

@writebikerepeat @daniellloyd1 This is shit. GCN+ has been superb and I’ve managed to see so many more races than I could have without it. Looks like everything is moving to Discovery+ at £6.99 a month with no annual option. Gutted for everyone involved.

No words for how rubbish this news is, and how negatively this will affect the enjoyment of so many cycling fans around the world. Most of all just gutted for you and the whole team @daniellloyd1. GCN has been a constant companion for the past couple of years.

@AJ_Brenes Same. Clicking not interested seems to do nothing except hide a single post. I’ve got no interest in football but keep seeing posts about it despite trying to hide it.

Getting remarkably fed up with the "for you" tab which recently shows total none sense despite clicking on the "not interested" button numerous times. Is anyone else finding this? And if you found a way to minimise it I'd be all ears. This app keeps getting worse and worse...
