Another intense match week with four fixtures in eight days, and another month ticked off.
In just two months since the opening match of the Oceania Pro League, our senior squad has already played 16 competitive fixtures, with only one at Lakeside, across four countries and a range of testing conditions and climates.

While part of the squad heads back to Melbourne today, we’re looking forward to seeing our South fans tomorrow night in Dandenong as we take on the Thunder.
We felt incredible support throughout our time in the Solomon Islands, whether out on the streets or inside the stadium itself. A great experience for the group.

As our squad heads back to Melbourne today, we would like to thank Maria Podnar and the team at the Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport gym in Honiara.
Maria, an Australian strength and conditioning coach working in the Solomon Islands, has been incredibly welcoming, and the facilities at SINIS have been first class for our group. We have used the gym twice during this trip and have been so well looked after on both occasions.
We sincerely appreciate the support and hospitality shown to our club.

Only football can create nights like this.
An incredible atmosphere, a courageous display from our undermanned squad, and a real test in tough conditions away from home. Full credit to the crowd in Honiara, who turned out in big numbers and brought great support not only for their team, but for the OFC Pro League as a whole.

It was an incredible atmosphere tonight in front of a full house and more than 10,000 passionate fans in the Solomon Islands. A big thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable occasion for our players not only tonight, but throughout the week.
At just 21, Jake Charlston stood firm between the sticks and, despite the intense atmosphere, delivered a sensational performance for the club.
He spoke to OFC Media post-match.
