2/3 सबसे चिंताजनक तथ्य यह है कि 2023-24 में पंजाब का Revenue Expenditure ₹1,17,407 करोड़ तक पहुँच गया। Revenue Deficit ₹28,215 करोड़ और Fiscal Deficit ₹33,115 करोड़ रहा। CAG-आधारित विश्लेषण के अनुसार Salaries + Pensions + Interest Payments पर ही Revenue Expenditure का लगभग 65% खर्च हो गया। ➡️ यानी सरकार की कमाई का बड़ा हिस्सा केवल पुराने दायित्वों को चुकाने में चला गया।
