Like pre-revolutionary France, today’s dating market personifies Marie Antoinette, an out of touch elitist who benefited from handouts and excess while ordinary people bore the consequences, much like modern women have benefited from the current system at the expense of men. But Marie Antoinette eventually met the guillotine, and today’s dating market will as well. As I’ve said before, some form of societal collapse is inevitable because this level of concentration is not sustainable. Once that happens, power will shift back toward men, and women will be relegated back to their natural roles. The “girl boss economy” and the “everything bubble” that enabled it will end brutally, and many of them will be begging the average men they discarded for help. During this time, it will be imperative that we work toward solutions to ensure extreme hypergamy never returns.
