Experimenting with a new "streaming imports" engine for Snowpack: This replaces JS downloads from the @skypackjs CDN with a streaming npm tarball download + local build. + better Svelte, Vue support + private registry support (!!!) + more control github.com/snowpackjs/sno…

Congrats to the Svelte team for hitting this milestone! 🎉 Rich is too modest: his work to create an ESM SSR runtime for SvelteKit was so great that we brought it into Snowpack core for others to enjoy (and I believe also became the inspiration for Vite's SSR?)
