small size, tight stop - if it doesn’t work out it’s alright, everything is about risk v reward and opening longs at range highs is usually not great. like I said before there’s a good chance we break out from here but the risk to reward on that move from here is tough

$BTC Opened a short here, I think at least taking out 116.3k (Saturday low) should be on the cards so a decent 4R play here. Also note the flat Sunday open + obviously a CME gap there.

@OxonTrading I was wondering if current prices might just be a lower high and it continues the downtrend to $110k, any chance of that or do you reckon otherwise?

$BTC and $SOL Everything looks quite corrective atm. My bullish case was to flush everyone early in the week and then V reverse up, but we're sort of doing the opposite. Slow grind up leads to quick moves down. Decent RR for longs here but I will be quick to TP.

@Crypto_Chase I think we dump aggressively today and tomorrow and that may be it, so this FVG could be the best entry for a short we should get if that’s the case.

$BTC Into the Daily bear FVG. Typically these provide continuation in local trend direction (down). Daily closes above and I could be convinced of a bottom. For now, need to see how equities play out this week. I trimmed some risk from $ETH 34~ avg entry, $SOL 157~ as well. This is a difficult area to trade. I don't believe invalidation comes until BTC 105~, ETH 3K~, SOL 140~, etc. so in order to get a strong position size, I need better entry prices. I'm not willing to open big size here and suffer a huge loss with far invalidations. If I don't get better entries, it's okay, there's always another trade. General thoughts are that equities still have lower liquidity to grab, bottoming on a Saturday would be quite weird (recent bottoms were Sun/Mon and tariff bottom was Mon/Wed), and simply the market isn't offering a great R/R trade at the moment so I'm staying patient/nimble for a better setup whether that's better entries or more confirmation of a bottom from here. We'll see.

For the $ETH cut all I was doing was waiting for $BTC to run this liq. IMO this was quick move so local shorts couldn't TP 63.2K lows. SL on ETH was 3090~ n would get tagged if we retrace later. Rather take the half stop. With that said, removed from watchlist and GOOD RIDDANCE.
