Sometimes all I get from going out is a reminder of how nice it is to be home.

A lot of what I do as a software developer is about mediating between different users' perspectives on the 'same' thing, trying to harmonize them at some very detailed formal level. I don't recall hearing people talk much about that aspect of the job, I should look for that.
