Our students are born free and then get chained to a rewards chart. To cut that dirty ol’ chain, we must give them the autonomy to make their own decisions.

Over the years I've learned that SLPs don't need big offices or lofty positions to be heroes.

Speech therapy sessions that appear to have failed are actually what guide us to become great SLPs!

@speechdude Do you have templates for IEP goals like this?

IEP goals should be written in language that the STUDENT can understand.

One of the least effective ways to collect information about how autistic students relate and respond to social situations is through formal standardized assessments.

Watching our seniors graduate, high energy rallies and walks during prep periods will always bring more joy than cars, watches and houses ever will.

Addiction to social media is the end of creative production.
