@Variety Robin Williams was a hack. He used to hang around the LA comedy clubs and steal material to use on Mork and Mindy.
English

Sally Field says she thought Robin Williams "wasn't funny" while filming "Mrs. Doubtfire":
“Robin was always trying something different to make me laugh. It was so unfunny. I can't begin to tell you. And then Pierce, wonderful Pierce Brosnan, we were sitting at a table at the restaurant, and he made a fart noise on his arm. And I was gone. That was it.”

@anishmoonka Except, here's the kicker.....all that bacteria is fine if you are healthy.
English

The research behind this is wild. Your kitchen sponge has the same density of bacteria as human stool. German scientists found 54 billion bacterial cells per cubic centimeter inside used sponges in 2017. Yours is sitting right next to your sink.
Sponges are the perfect home for bacteria. They are wet, warm, full of food bits, and never fully dry between washes. Across all 14 sponges, the team found 362 different types of bacteria. The most common species include strains that can make people sick.
In 2011, the public health group NSF International swabbed 30 things in 22 American homes. The dirtiest object in the entire house was the kitchen sponge. It was dirtier than the toilet seat. 75% of the sponges tested positive for the kind of bacteria that includes Salmonella and E. coli.
Microwaving does not clean the sponge. The 2017 study found microwaved sponges had higher amounts of the smelliest, most harmful bacteria. Heat kills the weak strains. The strong ones survive and refill the sponge with no competition for space.
A 2021 Norwegian study compared kitchen sponges to dish brushes. In brushes, Salmonella was wiped out within three days because the bristles dry out between uses. In sponges, bacteria climbed to about a billion cells per sponge. The lead researcher told CNN that one kitchen sponge can hold more bacteria than there are people on Earth.
Three things actually work. Switch to a dish brush, because brushes dry fully between uses while sponges stay wet for hours. Replace your sponge every one to two weeks. Never leave it sitting wet in the sink. Norway and Denmark already do this by default, but most other countries don't.
The detergent is fine. Your sponge is the problem.

An Israeli drone targeted a 12 year old girl THREE times today in Nabatieh. She and her father were on a motorcycle when they were first struck. They both survived, but the drone hit again, killing her father. As the wounded child fled, the drone struck a third time.
The girl survived, but is seriously injured and is being treated in hospital.

The Guardian lists some hilarious illustrations of how fake and made up Australia's "antisemitism crisis" actually is. The royal commission heard examples of "antisemitism" like:
• Someone's friend imagined she might be murdered by antisemites at the hospital
• Some Jewish people left a Facebook group of psychologists after being told they were "taking the side of the oppressor" in demanding that people not discuss Israel's genocidal atrocities
• a nurse wasn't allowed to hang pro-Israel genocide propaganda in the workplace
• a trade unionist "felt" she had to step down because younger union members fought union leadership to oppose Israel's war crimes.
It's all I felt, I feel, it made me feel. My feelings, my feelings, my feelings. Jewish feelings are treated as so supremely important that upsetting Jews by opposing an active genocide is treated as a hate crime. The victims of genocide are regarded as infinitely less important than a Jewish Australian feeling offended by anti-genocide sentiment in a Facebook group.
This is crazy, hysterical bullshit, and it should be treated as such.

they will look at you and tell you this isn't a genocide
in fact, they'll probably be in these replies saying this wasn't a genocide

One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been leaked. An Israeli soldier filmed this clip using a drone camera while proudly boasting about the destruction of all homes in Gaza. A moment the world must never forget.

@amelia_tweetz WHO says hantavirus outbreak on cruise ship likely involves human-to-human transmission
English

I don’t mean to be…dark but.
If everyone has hantavirus on that ship, or they’re most likely going to get it, due to the transmission rate
The ship can’t dock..
isn’t everyone on that boat eventually going to die?
So there’s just gonna be a ghost boat floating around like a giant Viking funeral?
What is the plan here?
We got rid of spirit airlines just in time to launch spirit cruise ships? Like what the fuck…?

The lack of news on Gaza isn’t because the genocide is over.
It’s because Israel slaughtered the journalists and Western media pretends there’s a ceasefire.

Massacres against Palestinian civilians in Gaza are still being carried out by Israel. Just minutes ago, another massacre occurred in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

This is devastating.
A Palestinian man, nervous and excited to become a father, left Rafidia Hospital in Nablus in the West Bank for a quick stop at the local supermarket while his wife was getting ready to give birth to their child.
The Israeli occupation raided the area, and shot him in the head.
He was pronounced dead in the same hospital his son was born in.

18-year-old Abdullah Al-Raqab is suffering from a life-threatening skin condition, Pemphigus Vulgaris, triggered after being shot while seeking aid for his family. Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system cannot treat him. His father’s cry is a call to the world’s conscience: Let him out for treatment before it’s too late.

For over a year, my family has been appealing to the International Committee of the Red Cross, relevant international organizations, and human rights institutions to coordinate with the concerned authorities to allow the entry of heavy equipment and specialized teams to recover the remains of our family members from beneath the rubble of the building.
🟥 It is worth noting that many victims’ remains are still under the rubble of numerous buildings in the Beit Lahia project area, and they have not been recovered or given proper burial due to the Israeli army’s refusal to coordinate the entry of equipment and specialized teams into this devastated area.

I am so heartbroken.
Israel has just shot my 30-year-old aunt in the chest while she was sitting with her three young children in a school shelter in Jabalia Camp. She is in critical condition; the bullet pierced her chest and exited through her back, devastating her lungs and spleen.
At the moment she was hit, she was holding her one-year-old son. He fell from her lap as she collapsed and was found bleeding from one of his ears.
I just spoke with my uncle, who told me that Israel has been using subsonic bullets lately. He said his sister is the second mother in the camp to be shot in the chest today.
Please pray for her and our family. Her husband was abducted by Israel in November 2024, and we still have no word on his condition.

It feels as though Gaza has entered a black hole
Most media channels have abandoned it, as it no longer draws viewers
Demolitions and rubble removal are halted,
Hospitals are operating at minimum capacity, prices of goods are skyrocketing
Crossings are closed, education is halted, no schools, no universities, no infrastructure
Martyrs every single day
Bring back the attention to Gaza and its people

Shit father wants to "check out", guess he should have stayed in his mom's basement instead of knocking up a women.
