Here's a question. If @elonmusk's AI Bot is so good at flagging false tweets, why is his algorithm putting so many of them in my feed? I understand not silencing them, but why promote them?

@charlescwcooke @GavinNewsom As a dyslexic myself, there is tons of research on how our brains work differently. Some things are more challenging, but there are advantages as well. pattern recognition, problem solving etc.

@GavinNewsom We most definitely shouldn’t bully—or abort—people with learning disabilities. But it is absolutely untrue that those disabilities are a strength. I don’t even know what that could mean.

To every kid with a learning disability: don’t let anyone — not even the President of the United States — bully you. Dyslexia isn’t a weakness. It’s your strength.

Harrison Ford, known for his rugged dignity, just gave one of the most touching acceptance speeches I’ve ever heard. Just a man, reflecting on the incredible blessing it is to be able to do what you love and find your place in the world. I cried.

As a former Army man, all of what’s happening right now is deeply troubling to me. The possibility of our young service members losing their lives in a war with Iran that seems to have very little “imminent threat” intelligence standing behind it is disturbing. Especially at a time when a President’s approval ratings are historically low and he’s fighting off an Epstein Files scandal that implicates him greatly. And also not getting Congress’s approval speaks to an authoritarian arrogance of leadership. Looking at it all in combo makes this attack look like a compromised campaign of distraction with nefarious, instead of honorable, intentions behind it. I do believe there are times we must go to war to defend our country’s existence, to honor our treaties or even to honor our interests in a region. So far, from the questionable intelligence that’s been presented, the behind the scenes chaos and how this has been carried out, it certainly doesn’t look like one of those times. I pray for the safety of all our service members in this conflict and for the most minimal loss of innocent human life. And I look forward to seeing more of the reasons and factual intelligence that sparked this decision. The families of our service members deserve to know that their family members put their lives in danger for the right reasons. We shall see.

@TheRochaSays 100% Agree. . I’m an A-list member and and if I’m too slow to snag the perfect seat, that’s on me. The last thing I want is to be sitting in the elite seats. The whole point of going to see a movie in the theater is that we are all there together.

SO. DUMB. "We want to save movie theaters, BUT we're turning our seating system into a haves vs the have nots. Only our premiere people get the good seats. You peasants can sit in the shitty seats." People will be LESS inclined to go the theater if they implement this. The lack of logic here is astounding.
