@SamDalrymple123 What a fascinating account of a Mughal princess. Thanks for sharing, Sam. There's an equally compelling story of the life and death of Queen Ketevan. Hope you cover the story someday soon

💎 Three Top Tips for FPL GW28:
(Opinions only)
Including - Captaincy, Rice, Szoboszlai & Best Cheap MID
💎
1. Prefer Haaland to Bruno for captaincy.
*
Manchester Utd have not been great against deep blocks in the last two games.
Carrick doesn’t seem to want to change his LHS dynamics. I’m particularly referencing the usage of Cunha & his on pitch relationship with the FB.
Personally think this hurts them.
Palace will set up deep most likely, and say come and break us down.
They’ve got the transitional and counter attacking quality, to hurt Utd in situations directly after frustrating them.
Allowing them to sit deeper for long, should they be successful.
No DEFCON, and Bruno hasn’t been too effective in this role in the last two games.
His floor isn’t the same. The lack of security, especially this season with others having it, makes him significantly worse as an asset.
*
Leeds have only lost two games since GW14. That’s remarkably impressive.
So they’re clearly not a roll over.
I just think City have too much, and Haaland probably gets a couple of good chances at least.
Take into consideration what I said about Bruno’s floor lowering, prefer going Erling for the higher likelihood of a haul, given how I assess all the variables at play.
💎
2. Rice underrated and Szoboszlai overrated.
*
Genuine open play threat, and a decent chance of DEFCON, in most games - very rare.
Rice has that.
The role Arteta has deployed him in, his personality (can tell he’s hungrier to contribute and score than the average) and all his routes to points make him a very solid hold.
3rd highest scorer for a reason.
Szoboszlai on the other hand, I wouldn’t say so.
Even with Frimpong available in the squad this week, I expect Szoboszlai to start at RB.
Much worse for his open play threat.
Even when he plays in midfield, he hasn’t looked like getting attacking returns very often.
Salah isn’t the same Salah, so that RHS relationship probably won’t prove as fruitful.
He tends to get DEFCON in bigger games, the FDR being green isn’t helpful in that matter as such.
Bit overrated as an option in my opinion.
💎
3. Best cheap MID?
- Wilson’s next three may be harder than the FDR or league table suggests.
3x deep blocks, fighting for their lives. All have enough quality to make it difficult.
Fulham’s block breaking dynamics aren’t great, and they can be a bit inconsistent.
*
There’s good things going for him, otherwise this wouldn’t be a discussion in the first place.
Just think the risk is slightly under appreciated.
*
- Personally think KLP affects Dango’s xMins more than Schade’s, and the latter is more explosive.
Would like to catch one of his braces/bigger hauls in the next four, all of which give a chance.
Will say that the lower teams really aren’t that bad, so it’s not super straight forward for Brentford necessarily.
💎
Good luck

Everyone calls it one of the most haunted spots in Delhi... but the architecture is what actually blew me away. 👻🏛️

@LazyFPL I've had Stach since GW1, has been a handy asset whenever I needed points from bench
English

If you're still looking for a good budget midfield enabler, Anton Stach might just be your guy.
▫️Only £4.9m
▫️90 mins in the last 6 matches
▫️Points in last six: 6, 12, 2, 8, 4, 5
▫️3G 2A this season
▫️9.46 DEFCON per 90, achieved in 6/16 starts
Seems to tick all the boxes; DEFCONs, attacking returns, cheap. Is he in your plans for the upcoming weeks?

@iamrana Thank you for documenting these lesser known historical places.
English

In 2019
My travels for my new book A SAINT, A FOLK TALE AND OTHER STORIES: LESSER-KNOWN MONUMENTS OF INDIA
took me to Ahmedabad.
I met Prof Shamsur Rahman Faruqi a day before and he asked me to search the famous poet Maulana Naziri 's grave.
He gave me some pointers as to the saint in whose dargah he was buried .
I reached Ahmedabad and set off in search of Maulana Naziri 's grave.
It wasn't easy as the locality has changed but I'm nor easily deterred.
Found it in a crowded locality and quite neglected.
I found him sleeping in mazar of a Sufi saint .
I immediately mailed Faruqi sahib the photos.
I cherish his reply
"thank you for documenting
these facts. The cat and her baby by the side of Naziri's grave is very
amusing. I hope someone would at least set up an epitaph for Naziri. Who knows, but for you the site and the grave would have remained unknown."
The idea behind this new book Is to document these places for posterity.
The mosque attached to tje dargah has been broken down and a fancy new one constructed . The mazar is delapidated and I hope it survives time.
