I’ve been having such a hard time with my treatments so my oncologist had me only receive 50% of it to see how I do…well…FUCK!!! It didn’t work!!!! I was so sick 🤢, severe pain, with cold sweats all night!!! I feel like shit 💩! Sorry for my cursing… but #FuckCancer!!!! 🤬😣

@stage4wisdom Why do you think they will look at you differently if they know about your cancer - or maybe you kind of want them to do it? Most coworkers could care less if you have cancer, just as long as you get the work done so they don't have to pick up the slack. Don't overthink.

I don’t want people at work to know about my cancer diagnosis. I don’t have the words to say why other than I don’t want people to see me differently. I don’t think I want an interesting story of how I achieved what I have or the adversity of my life or….does that make sense?

@stage4wisdom I understand I had cancer and kept my circle of people very small. I didn’t want the outside noise giving their opinions.

@stage4wisdom Everyone’s cancer journey and way of dealing with it is their call. I’ve dealt with mine my way and so are you. You can always change your method of dealing with it. I wish you a full recovery and strength and solidarity with your road ahead. 💪💪

@stage4wisdom Your feelings don't have to make sense to us or even seem rational to you yourself. Your feelings are valid whether you make rational sense of them or not. I'm trans M2F but I don't tell anyone that in my real life because people change how they look at me if they know that

@WharrJ I agree! I don’t want or need the fuss. I just want to live and show up every single day to make that happen

@stage4wisdom I know exactly how you feel, I didn’t tell anyone apart from family and my best friend until I’d rung the bell after my treatment finished. I just wanted to deal with it without a lot of fuss. You have to do what feels right for you . Good Luck x

@stage4wisdom Our health is personal. Only share if you have close friends who truly care. Support groups are helpful b/c they know what we are dealing with
