@HawleyMO It wasn’t necessary for you to side with the Dems on this, you know as well as anybody, and better than most, Pres Trump has no intention of “putting boots” on the ground there. Siding with the Dems sends a message, the base is crumbling.

With regard to Venezuela, my read of the Constitution is that if the President feels the need to put boots on the ground there in the future, Congress would need to vote on it. That’s why I voted yes on this morning’s Senate resolution.
