In general, for a climax reversal day that morphs into a breakdown: 1. Stock opens at or near all-time highs, ideally after a gap up 2. Makes a new high early in the session (first 30-60 minutes) 3. Then reverses, not gradually but sharply 4. Volume accelerates on the reversal (you can see it on the 5-minute chart) 5. Closes in the bottom 20% of the day's range The range of the day is wider than any prior day in the run. I say we don't have a breakdown as of now because of 4. above lacking volume. However, if we closed down here, this would be the first real distribution day (gap up, then fade intraday). Nothing in itself, but the first potential break of momentum and change of character. $CAR

Narrator: he did not make it back anytime soon. IMO, today’s $CAR price action makes it far more dangerous to be short equity outright. Better to position via a hedged short or long puts…. Or long calls if that is your thing lol.
