they still have incentives to stay, like world class medical care and the things they purchase off credit. You can take knowledge and credentials anywhere with you

@katewillett I don't think you're wrong but why student loans over other types of outstanding debt like medical or credit card?

@taelorjae_ They probably asked the players to mimic a similar play style to whoever’s number they are wearing. It’s not unusual to have someone attempt to replicate a player or team during practice.

He is 100% correct. When I was a stay at home dad it was the easiest most carefree, most relaxing time of my life. It was so rich and fulfilling being around my daughter all day every day, and then I would work nights after she went to sleep. All the women crying about unpaid labour are just gold digging grifters lying to you. It really is like a vacation.

A stay-at-home dad is going viral after saying being a full-time parent is actually the easiest job he has ever had, despite also working five other jobs.

Two Canadian Citizens and Pakistani National Accused of Attempting to Smuggle 89 Guns Into Canada Three men have been arrested after authorities say they were caught transporting dozens of firearms, including stolen weapons, in an alleged attempt to smuggle them into Canada. The arrests were announced by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton, alongside officials from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). According to investigators, Malik Bromfield, 22, Faizan Ali, 25, and Kamal Salman, 22, were stopped by New York State Police on May 7, 2026, after officers observed traffic violations involving a white Ford Explorer travelling near State Route 90. Police allege the occupants gave inconsistent and evasive answers during the traffic stop. During a roadside search, investigators allegedly recovered an expired Pakistani national driving permit concealed on Ali that had been issued in another person’s name. Authorities say a police canine later alerted officers to the possible presence of narcotics in the vehicle. During a subsequent search, troopers allegedly discovered a heavy suitcase containing 89 firearms, including short-barreled rifles and at least 17 guns reported stolen. Federal prosecutors allege the firearms were being transported for smuggling into Canada. “This Office will relentlessly pursue the trafficking of dangerous weapons,” Clayton said in a statement, adding that keeping illegal firearms out of the hands of criminals remains a top priority. FBI Assistant Director in Charge James C. Barnacle Jr. said the alleged smuggling operation posed a threat to public safety on both sides of the border. ATF Special Agent in Charge Bryan DiGirolamo said illegal firearms trafficking fuels violent crime and endangers communities. Bromfield, a Canadian citizen; Ali, a citizen of Pakistan; and Salman, who authorities say holds citizenship in Canada, the United States, and Jordan, each face charges including smuggling from the United States, unlicensed dealing in firearms, transporting stolen firearms in interstate commerce, and unlawful possession of firearms. Bromfield also faces an additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by an alien. If convicted, several of the charges carry maximum prison sentences ranging from five to 15 years. The accused appeared before a U.S. magistrate judge in White Plains federal court and were ordered detained pending further proceedings.
