As someone in the China 3PL business that deals with hundreds of brands, let me go through a quick rapid fire on the whole China 3PL current situation and how it's been affected by the war > Overall rates on average increased by 8-10% so far > Available flights from China to the U.S. have dropped by around 13% > USPS just announced a local U.S. increase as well > For big shippers, flights are locked in 3-7 days in advance — if you don't have priority you're missing flights, and this can add delays. Likely can be the case for a lot of brands using unstable lines. > A lot of prices are changing actively as carriers try to predict future costs, but shipping costs for unstable lines will be a lot more volatile. > Beyond shipping, raw material prices for things like supplement powders, and perfume base oils are fluctuating. Plastics & packaging have seen the largest increase. In terms, of manufacturing this also spirals back into production cost from an energy standpoint Main takeaway: no one can accurately predict how this develops or how long it lasts Instead of predicting and timing, it's better to enter a mode of prevention For us, we're locking in shipping rates and extending bigger credit lines with longer payment terms to give our clients more flexibility during the fluctuations Will expand more on this in the coming days, but just wanted to get something out quickly If you need a second opinion feel free to message me

The price argument is dead. People think AI is cheaper. It’s not. If you know where to source creators, UGC costs roughly the same per hour as good AI tools + your time editing. The real difference?
