I have been around basketball all of my life, and I have NEVER seen a coach do what UCONN Coach Geno Auriemma just did to South Carolina Coach Dawn Staley after his team lost tonight's Final Four. He literally had to be pulled away from her. What an embarrassment! It's bad enough he had a fit during the sideline interview after the third quarter. I am no South Carolina fan, but I have always been "Anybody But UCONN," and if you saw what Geno did tonight, you know why, and you might even understand the friction between the late Coach Pat Summitt and Geno back in the day. Poor example as the entire nation watched and, most importantly, his own players. I hope he wakes up in the morning and gives Dawn a call--right before apologizing to his players, his staff, and his institution. Wow.

Bodycam Released: Columbus officers use “controversial” leg sweep on woman walking backward during high-risk Facebook dispute call Columbus police responded to a report of two women trying to kick in an apartment door and threatening to shoot the occupant over a Facebook argument. As the women tried to leave in a Lincoln SUV, officers ordered them out at gunpoint. One woman walked backward toward an officer, who then used a leg sweep to take her to the ground. Both women were charged with aggravated menacing. The Fraternal Order of Police says the leg sweep is a trained and approved low-level use of force technique. The Columbus Department of the Inspector General is reviewing the incident.
