@SantsRNTL Matched betting - he’s backing £500 then laying it off in the hope Liverpool go 2up - 365 pay out early - if Liverpool draw/Southampton win - he’s winning both bets.
English

Gn why you risking £500 to make £363 omds 🤣

Liverpool knew not to be silly today

@jonowolves @JE22_JCK @SkyBet Read the small print 👍🏼 just like the cash out option bookies offer, they can take it away anytime they like during the bet. You need to realise bookies are there to take your money not do you or anyone else any favours

@seanmcdonald01 Low IQs + narcissistic tendencies. When headcase conspiracy theorists struggle to understand something, they latch on to shit like this to make them look like they’re in the know. Feeding their ego and making them feel like the smartest person in the room. It’s a comfort blanket.
English

Genuine question, if anyone has any unique insight.
How do you think people get like this? What brings this on? Is it something specific, or common?
Rickie lambert@SaintLambo07
It’s becoming clear exactly who and what you are @GNev2 Instead of using the footballing community to come together and stop what is being implemented onto us, you are using your position to try and persuade them to accept the corrupt, cowardly shadow governments plan to destroy our way of life and society.

@SadBadgerFan I’m not Irish you fucking idiot. I’m from the UK. I’m just pointing out some basic geography.
English

@SadBadgerFan It’s not though is it? It’s a different fucking country.
English

@SadBadgerFan Lowry is Irish - he’s not from the UK. And there’s no such thing as a “UK accent”
English

@carlogarganese Slow build up play and possession based tactics are what’s killing it and squeezing the fun out of it. I’d genuinely bring in a rule change like a shot clock or backwards pass limit. Centre halves consistently have the most touches in a game and that shouldn’t be the case. Boring
English

@KitConnorsseur Again - I see your point. It just doesn’t sit right with me. Had Spurs have won tonight & Arsenal went on to win the league - then so be it. They deserved to win it and Spurs beating Man City wouldn’t have been the sole reason for this. So why not want your team to win regardless
English

@stramashing When the alternative is your most hated rivals basically winning the league. I think it's fair to suggest that a season in the EL when you're already in a rebuild, isn't a bad thing.
See below, Lazio fans after they went behind, spiting Roma in 2010.

English

@KitConnorsseur Fair enough. I see the point you are making, I just don’t agree with it. From a Spurs perspective- it’s petty and lacks ambition. But I suppose that sums Spurs up as a club. Supporting your team should mean wanting them to win every game. Everything else is irrelevant.
English

@stramashing The many Spurs fans I've read saying it. I've seen more say they'd rather the EL this season than CL.
They're a Sky 6 EPL team, they'll be able to get players in, they're still paying hilarious wages compared to other CL clubs.
English

@KitConnorsseur They might not *need* the money. But it’s not all about money, is it? The fans certainly don’t benefit. Surely you want your team to win every match and finish as high up the league as possible? Hence why I said that celebrating an opposition goal to spite your rivals is tinpot.
English

@stramashing The CL is honestly a power of shite for everyone except about 8 clubs, the only good thing about it is the money for most clubs.
Spurs don't *need* money at the moment, and they can build for another season with a view to having an actual crack at the league and CL in 2025/26.
English

@KitConnorsseur Taking revenue out of the equation, being in the CL attracts better players so thats massively counterproductive if the team needs major surgery? Out of interest - who are you referring to when you say “they don’t want it”?
English

@stramashing We aren't spurs l, who have the 7th largest revenue in world football without CL money.
Not qualifying for CL means we have to sell a big player. Spurs can absolutely afford to miss a season in the CL.
It's almost like football clubs aren't all the exact same.
English

@KitConnorsseur Hahaha honestly I’ve seen some horrendous takes on here but this one is a cracker. I’m curious about this logic of yours - being a Celtic fan - I assume you’re not arsed if they qualify for Europe, as they have virtually zero chance of winning either the CL or the EL?
English

@stramashing They could win the EL, they're not getting close to the CL.
They're preventing arsenal winning the league.
It makes perfect sense.
English

@KitConnorsseur lol ok then - makes sense to miss out on the top competition in club football and forgo the fortunes in revenue that it brings because they require “more surgery to make it worth it” 🥴
English

@stramashing They don't want it lmao, this spurs team requires far more surgery to make CL football worth it
English

@KitConnorsseur Not to be pedantic but it’s actually the opposite of shithousery as they are essentially on the brink of missing out on a Champions League spot.
ROFL
English

@stramashing Can't believe a bit of shithousing has bothered you so much lmao

"Well done on the sacking announcement Ben. Now tell them that Malky Mackay is arriving as Sporting Director!"
