Went to BDO Fame supposedly to apply for a credit card. With me are hard copies of my ITR and IDs. The lady checked them briefly and told me that I need to provide a COE. I explained that I couldn’t get a COE coz as a consultant physician in different clinics, I am not considered an employee but rather a private contractor. “Tanong ko po muna”, she looked a bit confused and came back after a minute. Told me to scan the QR code for online application instead coz she repeated that I lacked the COE, to which I explained again and asked what’s the alternative that I can maybe provide? She then said, online application nalang sir tapos may tatawag sa inyo for confirmation. It didn’t take 5mins for them to shoo me away ahaha! Nandon nako, bakit online pa? And the online platform is very confusing for someone like me who knows nothing about the various types of cards they are offering. 😅
